Airzone’s intelligent control systems were recently installed into Ammestelle, a Dutch wellness and regenerative-health retreat founded in 2018, set within a restored farmhouse and nestled in the countryside of North Brabant. The retreat focuses on holistic vitality and body and mind rejuvenation, combining cutting-edge biohacking technologies with wellness treatments.

Sustainability is also central to Ammestelle’s brand values, so every system must be as energy-efficient and environmentally friendly as possible. This presents a distinctive challenge for HVAC design, which must balance guest comfort with minimal energy use to safeguard the natural environment.
Airzone’s intelligent control systems enable Ammestelle to achieve consistent spa-level conditions with temperatures maintained between 21-24 °C and relative humidity between 45-55%. The system also delivers purified air via ionisation with low VOC levels and ionisation to support the retreat’s focus on wellness and detoxification.
By integrating heating, ventilation and air conditioning into a single, unified system, the indoor climate is continuously managed, with duct units, underfloor heating modules, heat recovery units and air quality sensors working together to automatically monitor and adjust conditions.
Airzone’s AirQ sensors were also installed to track everything from CO2 levels to dust particles, sending signals to the system to automatically maintain fresh, clean air while keeping conditions energy-efficient and comfortable for guests.
