Legrand AV Residential Solutions has announced that Luxul, Nuvo, QMotion and Vantage will come together on booth 2-C50 at ISE 2020.
“In the past year, Legrand AV’s most respected brands came together, creating a one-stop shop where integrators can get all of the latest technologies and options available for making homes smarter,” comments Mike Grubb, vice president of marketing at Legrand | AV Residential Solutions. “At ISE this year, we’ll have solution areas and a dedicated demo room showing how our automated networking, audio, shading, and lighting solutions integrate with one another.”
Luxul will bring network performance to ISE 2020 with a demonstration of its Epic 3 dual-band wireless AC3100 (XWR-3150) Gigabit router featuring integrated Domotz technology. Supporting advanced 4×4 MU-MIMO (Wave 2) technology, the Epic 3 delivers wireless data transfers of up to 3,100Mbps for fast streaming and bandwidth-intensive applications. Also on display will be the XWR-1200 dual-band wireless AC1200 Gigabit router, which features 802.11ac 2×2 MIMO technology for data rates up to 1200Mbps. Both routers offer a built-in wireless controller featuring Luxul’s exclusive Roam Assist technology.
Featured indoor wireless AP solutions will include the Apex line of access points: the cost-effective XAP-810 with data rates up to 1200Mbps for smaller networks; the XAP-1510 featuring 802.11ac 3×3 dual-band technology for data rates up to 1900Mbps; and the XAP-1610 AC3100 dual-band wireless with advanced 4×4 MU-MIMO (802.11ac Wave 2) technology for data rates up to 3167Mbps. For wireless coverage outside, Luxul’s 300N XAP-1240, featuring multi-stream 802.11n wireless technology, will be on display in addition to the dual-band AC1200 XWO-BAP1 bridging AP to deliver connectivity to remote locations such as outbuildings and guest houses.
Audio solutions on display at ISE 2020 will include Nuvo’s rack-mount Professional Series Players, which deliver high-fidelity sound to three listening zones, provide built-in access to a variety of music options, and can be easily integrated into automation systems. For small, medium, and large home theatres, Nuvo will introduce its new architectural passive subwoofers and subwoofer amplifiers to the European market. The three compact single and dual subwoofers deliver low-frequency impact, while the wall- and rack-mount amplifiers are packed with convenient features for maximum versatility.
The perfect companion for the Nuvo players, the P600 DIN rail player will also be on display. Ideal for the many European installers who have adopted the international DIN rail mounting standard, the P600 gives residents in any room instant access to endless music options from networked collections or a variety of internet radio and streaming services — all from a single app. The unit supplies 2×20 watts of efficient Class D digital amplification for a single zone of powerful audio. Power comes courtesy of the P601 DIN Rail Power Supply, which runs up to four P600s, making the system scalable and easy to expand to up to 16 zones.
For shading, QMotion will display its Qbasic+ field-upgradeable solution. Offering integrators the ultimate in flexibility, Qbasic+ can be upgraded from manual to motorised in minutes without needing to change fabrics or reinstall brackets, and it offers all the exclusive innovations QMotion is known for — including manual override, internal batteries and motors, and a counterbalanced design. In addition, QMotion will showcase its new fabric style, texture, and color options, including decorative light filtering and matching room-darkening collections.
For lighting control, Vantage will highlight the EasyTouch Glass Keypad Station. EasyTouch Glass offers a highly reflective, glass-like look with a smooth touch surface. Available with up to five programmable buttons for different scenes — such as Welcome, Away, or Party — not only does the keypad allow users to set the lighting in a space with one touch, it can also incorporate control over QMotion automated shading, speakers, and other third-party systems.
Another lighting focus at the Legrand AV booth will be an interactive human-centric lighting (HCL) demonstration that shows how Vantage creates lighting for life. Vantage HCL systems deliver precision dimming, colour control and tunable lighting. Vantage will also highlight partnerships with leading manufacturers aimed at creating end-to-end systems that combine its control solutions with tunable light fixtures utilising the Lumenetix araya5 light engine.
In addition, Legrand AV will be showcasing how its commercial brands work together to provide an application-focused collection of solutions for conference rooms, education, broadcast, and more.
