Designed to take interactivity in the classroom to a new level, Vivitek Corporation’s D755WTIR – when combined with an interactive whiteboard –  facilitates collaborative learning sessions of simultaneous writing, drawing and note taking for up to 10 people.

The D755WTIR is the first to offer a DT01 ‘laser curtain module’, allowing teachers and students to collaborate together using up to 10 simultaneous finger touch points on the screen.

The projected image can then be manipulated in any chosen way, to create diagrams, drawing or writing.

The projector also supports IR Pen use for live note-taking, highlighting and onscreen amendments.

“As the growth of technology both inside and outside the classroom continues, so has the demand for new solutions that can engage students in new ways,” explains Holger Graeff, general manager, Vivitek EMEA. “The exciting thing about the D755WTIR is that it answers the demand for something new, while, because of its easy connectivity and wide compatibility, it can be seamlessly integrated with existing classroom technology.”

The D755WTIR delivers a 3,300 ANSI lumen brightness level with a contrast ratio of 5,000:1.

The plug and play set up offers automatic or manual set up for easy integration into the existing network.

Connectivity options are wide and include multiple display connectivity ports such as HDMI, VGA-In, composite and video out.

The D755WTIR is also fully compatible with Crestron, AMX control and a range of other network monitoring and facilities management systems, and is supplied with Vivitek’s NovoTeach Interactive Whiteboard software. An optional wall-mount bracket is available free, upon request.
