At three venues across the UK, SSE will be showing for the first time L-Acoustics’ KIVA II, along with the new L-Acoustics X series, all running through Avid’s flagship console, the S6L.
For the launch of KIVA II, the new compact line array from L-Acoustics, the SSE sales team is going on tour. It has selected three very different venues across the country where installers will have the opportunity to hear the brand new KIVA II system for the first time. To further increase the appeal of the days SSE has invited Avid along to demonstrate its flagship S6L digital console and L-Acoustics will also demonstrate its X-Series Co-Axial range.

The theatre seats 499 people and is a typical size for the new KIVAII making it an ideal environment to test out the compact array system.
Area 51, Westminster University Harrow Campus
Located within Westminster University’s Harrow Campus, Area 51 is part of the Music Arts and Design department and is used for several courses including BMUS Commercial Music Performance, BA Commercial Music and MA Audio Production. SSE Audio installed a complete audio lighting and AV package in Area 51 in 2014.
SSE sales director Alex Penn notes: “We’re really looking forward to taking the new KIVA II out on this promotional tour. It’s a first for us at SSE and we’ve chosen some really great venues to host these events. It’s also the first opportunity for us to see how KIVA II performs – the A-B comparison test between the old KIVA system and the new KIVA II should be particularly interesting.”
