Pyng is the App that Crestron says is a complete home automation system in its own right.

The Pyng hub connects accessories with the App and runs scenes and events, whilst continuously backing up all settings to the cloud.

Once initial set up is complete, installer and end user can modify settings or create new scenes from the App.

The new DigitalMedia presentation systems will also be on display offering a built-in Crestron 3-Series Control System based on Crestron’s AV framework.

Crestron says these new models deliver unprecedented HD performance and convenience in a network-grade appliance.

The systems can be configured right from the optional pre-loaded TSW-750 touch screen, or from an iPad or computer providing everything needed to deliver high performing HD presentation experiences.

The approach integrates the control system, multimedia matrix switcher, mic mixer, audio DSP, amplifier and DigitalMedia distribution centre into a single three-space rack mount package.

Desribed as the world’s first and only 4K/60 Hz scaler, the 4K DigitalMedia Receiver & Room Controller, will also be on the stand, featuring its scaler chip which can convert any resolution and frame rate to any other resolution and frame rate, up to 4096×2160 at 60 Hz.

Visitors to ProLight & Sound will also get to see the Wall Plate 4K DigitalMedia Transmitter and Wall Plate 4K DigitalMedia Receive, both powered over DM, needing only a single cable.

Also on show will be Crestron’s DIN-AP2, a 2-Series control processor designed for small to medium-sized lighting and automation applications.

DIN rail mounting enables modular installation alongside Crestron DIN Rail lighting and automation control modules and other third-party DIN rail mountable devices.

Built upon Crestron’s 2-Series control engine, the DIN-AP2 is extensively programmable using Crestron’s suite of development software and database of drivers and software modules.

The DIN-AP2 works with Crestron’s entire line of lighting dimmers and shade controls, keypads and touchpanels, thermostats, wireless gateways, and expansion modules.

The DIN-AP2 is designed to snap onto a standard DIN rail for installation in a wall mount enclosure or mounted on a wall panel.

Wiring connections are made using detachable screw terminals positioned along the top and bottom, accessible from the front for easy installation and servicing.

When installed in an enclosure using 45 mm cutouts, the DIN-AP2’s front panel stays accessible while all other connections are concealed.

Also on display will be Crestron RL, Airmedia and Crestron Fusion concepts.

Crestron RL is a group collaboration solution featuring a Crestron UC Codec for Microsoft Lync, HD camera, microphone, 65in touch display(s) and a hi-res 10in tabletop touch screen.

Crestron RL is designed to seamlessly integrate with Crestron DigitalMedia and all other Crestron enterprise control solutions and products to offer a complete room solution.

With AirMedia, anyone can walk into a room and wirelessly present PowerPoint, Excel, Word and PDF documents, as well as photos, on the room display from their personal iOS or Android mobile device.

Crestron will also be showing its range of speakers, including the Aspire, Essence and Saros models as well as the new range of Crestron interfaces including the TSW range, and new TST-902, TSR-302, HR-100, HR-150 and MLX-3-SF remotes.
