The trio of professional installation projectors are now compatible with the free App, which has been designed for mobile presenting from a smartphone or tablet.

Designed for large venues, lecture theatres, auditoriums and conference rooms, Optoma’s compatible projectors are well suited for mobile presenting.

The ProScene X501, W501 and EH501 boast brightness levels of 4,500-5,000 lumens and offer optional wireless capability.

The wireless features of these projectors are enabled when used in conjunction with the Optoma WU5205 Mini Wi-Fi dongle (sold separately).

“VueMagic gives presenters the freedom to move around the room,” explains Optoma’s head of product marketing, Justin Halls.

“This smart App also enables any mobile device’s touch screen to browse, flick between slides and pinch-to-zoom. What’s more, no upgrade is required to the projector – so customers who already have these projectors can use the app as well as new customers.”

The VueMagic App can be used in conjunction with a mobile device’s camera to stream live images directly to a projector.

Not stopping there, the App can also be used to annotate directly onto a presentation in multiple colours, either freehand or using the tools provided.

The Pixelworks VueMagic App is free to download for both Android and iOS devices.
