Signagelive will be launching a new Content Marketplace at ISE 2017, with over 500 pre-built content for digital signage applications set to be made available.

In the age of the app store, Signagelive is making it easier than ever for digital signage installers to quickly get going. Using the Content Marketplace, installers will be able to access everything from layout backgrounds to pre-built applications and widgets.

In addition to the over 500 pieces of content already available on the Content Marketplace, Signagelive will also be revealing a suite of developer APIs for network and content management, bespoke player development, and real-time content triggering, as well as a new UI accessible via tablets.

Signagelive’s new suite of developer APIs and associated software development tools will allow customers and partners alike to incorporate greater functionality into their digital signage networks, while facilitating the development of new, purpose-built applications to meet the needs of specific real world scenarios – quick serve restaurants (QSR), corporate communications or retail, and more.

Developers are already able to take advantage of a number of features, including Signagelive’s support for NFC, beacons and mobile technology, which enables real-time triggering of pre-cached content on a range of conventional and smart signage displays.

Using Signagelive’s Widget Development Framework, both technology partners and system developers can compile web-driven application  compatible for a range of displays, regardless of vendor, and eliminate latency issues commonly associated with HTML5 applications delivered over the Internet.

“Forging alliances with a wider developer community through a flexible development framework approach demonstrates Signagelive’s continued desire to take an already growing digital signage industry further into the future,” comments Jason Cremins, CEO of Signagelive.

“Our “solution first” approach has always been at the forefront of how we enable our channel partners achieve their project goals. our latest platform additions reinforce this ethos and ensures our they remain an integral to customer success.”
