Panasonic will use ISE 2016 to launch a high brightness laser projector for large venues that exceeds 20,000 lumens.

The compact laser projector aims to provide rental and staging companies with a maintenance free alternative for permanent installations and live events.

Panasonic will also use the exhibition to introduce its new System on Chip solution, enabling any third party software – especially Content Management Systems – to be installed on Panasonic display screens without any specific development.

Visitors to ISE 2015 will remember that the Panasonic booth drew big crowds with its projection-mapped Tesla sports car. For 2016, Panasonic is promising a ‘Robotic Experience’ or RobEx, which is being developed with event company XPION.

“Industry grade robots in the context of events and entertainment can help engineer people’s emotions,” explains Hartmut Kulessa, European projector marketing manager at Panasonic.

“Bringing together technologies from different worlds can create a massive impression by adding movement as a new dimension to the visual experience. When you throw Panasonic picture quality and 4K resolution in to the mix, we are able to provide more depth and a more immersive viewing experience than ever before. It promises to be the star of the show.”
