Optoma is serious about its entry into new markets outside of projection, and it’s set to showcase that commitment at ISE 2019, where it will unveil a new range of interactive flat panel displays.
While full details will be available at ISE 2019, Optoma has confirmed that its new Creative Touch IFPD series will be available in 65, 75 and 86in sizes. The displays have also been designed to be plug and play, compatible with Windows, Mac and Chrome OS devices. Wireless content sharing will be possible via iMirror and Screenshare features.
Thierry Millet, Optoma EMEA managing director, notes: “Optoma is no longer just a projection company – we are in the business of big imagery – whether that is projection, LED displays or the soon to be launched large format displays.
“We are responding to our customers’ demand for a whole range of display products that suit all situations. Projection remains the most cost effective and simplest way to attain a large display image, especially if high resolution is required. It can also accommodate more complex and creative installations such as projection mapping and edge blending.
“But if there is too much ambient light, even for a high brightness laser projector, a large format display or indeed an LED display may be a better solution. Our customers know that we supply high quality, reliable products. So, whatever the brief, Optoma will have the solution.”
The IFPD will be available to the EMEA market from Q1 2019.
