Optoma has announced a new addition to its DuraCore laser projector range in the form of the ZU750. This new 8,000 lumen laser projector has been designed for simulation, live events, museums, visitor centres and other complex installations.

Designed for continuous 24/7 operation, the ZU750 supports 360° and portrait orientations, and offers seven interchangeable lens options to ensure flexibility. Integrators can also use the ZU750 for large-scale projection or stacking thanks to built-in edge-blending and warping features. An HDBaseT input is also included to simplify cabling requirements and reduce installation complexity, saving time and reducing costs.

James Fursse, technical product manager at Optoma Europe, comments: “The ZU750 joins our ProScene range of DuraCore laser projectors delivering a minimum of 20,000 hours in full brightness mode. Aside from the excellent reliability and performance, DuraCore technology means virtually maintenance-free operation. The ZU750 is suitable for all types of installations with multiple lens options including an ultra-short throw lens and single-projector dome lens.”

As with other DuraCore projectors, the ZU750 has been designed to be durable. That means it’s been independently certified as IP5X, and is completely dust resistant. The durability has also been rated for 20,000 hours maintenance-free.
