Optoma has a new ICT distributor in southern Africa, with the company’s business projectors set to be distributed by Pinnacle.

As part of its agreement with Optoma, Pinnacle will leverage its 25 years’ experience in the region to distribute the company’s business projectors to schools and corporate offices. The firm is hoping to focus on the projectors’ low overall cost of ownership, minimum maintenance and energy efficiency.

Mohsin Abakhti, Optoma’s Territory Manager, said: “We are delighted to announce Pinnacle as our new distribution partner for our cost-effective business projectors in Southern Africa. With Pinnacle’s experience and knowledge in these countries, we will increase our presence and strengthen our distribution channel. Our products and their experience – it is a perfect match.”

Pinnacle’s Business Unit Manager, Theo Barnard, added: “We know Optoma manufactures high quality projectors, so adding Optoma to our portfolio of products and brands will enhance the range that we can offer our customers.”

In addition to Optoma’s business projectors, Pinnacle also offers a range of ICT hardware equipment from brands such as Asus, Microsoft, Intel, HP, Dell, LG, Samsung, and Lenovo.
