Old Barn Audio has acquired a 16-element MLA Compact system from Martin Audio.

The acquisition was made in anticipation that there will be an increase in interest around the product in the run-up to festival season.

According to the company’s director, Phil Clark, Martin Audio’s MLA Compact system has been ‘scientifically proven’ to reduce such noise pollution.

“The purchase represents a major step forward for us, and while we hope it also enhances Old Barn Audio’s reputation, we want the major rental companies to look at us as partners, not competitors, and as a resource for offering trouble-free hire,” Clark said.

The company made the decisions after noticing that it was appearing on riders more frequently.

Old Barn Audio is already a ‘Sub-Distributor’ of Martin Audio, as well as being the main UK distributor for MLA Mini.
