Sadler’s Wells Theatre in Islington, London recently selected Tripleplay’s Digital Signage and IPTV platform in order to provide live streaming of performances, as well as showcase promotional messaging and advertising content.

AV integrator, Reflex, will implement the system.

Incorporating two performance spaces, dressing rooms, offices, a cafe, the foyer, several corporate areas and meeting rooms, the Tripleplay solution will utilise the venue’s IP network to deliver TV and signage content directly on to LG SmartTVs to all areas of operation.

In total, over 60 screens will be deployed, including a video wall – all powered from the Tripleplay IPTV and Digital Signage head-end server.

“What Sadler’s Wells are doing is very forward thinking, they have used video streaming and digital signage for a number of years but needed a new solution, a modern and high quality system that utilised the latest technologies available,’ explains Tripleplay’s head of sales, Matt Cooper.

“Working with our partners at Reflex AV we have designed a system that operates directly on SmartTVs, reducing implementation costs as there are no signage players required, and offers the ability to integrate live broadcasts with promotional messaging. We are looking forward to the new-look venue launch and the chance to show our solution in action.”
