Daniel J SaitWyreStorm says it has leveraged its transmission expertise by introducing the H2XC Series modular 4K HDR with integrated audio matrix switchers featuring with customisable multi-format, multi-platform transmission cards supporting up to 4K/60 4:4:4 over both copper and fibre.
WyreStorm have taken the abilities of its current H2X Series matrix switchers and given it the modular treatment with the new H2XC Series offering integrators more flexibility in AV distribution and control versatility.
The H2XC Series features a 10 or 16-way H2X Series chassis, featuring integrated audio matrix with DSP capable of routing up to three separate audio signals per transmission card (depending on card model), including ARC, HDMI de-embed from video and separate line-level audio only sources.
The custom chassis can be populated by any selection of multi-format transmission card options supporting 18Gbps inputs and outputs, decentralised sources and 4K/60 4:4:4 over both HDBaseT and multimode fiber. The result is a custom HDBaseT matrix solution for large projects requiring support for the latest 4K HDR content that gives the integrator the freedom to tailor the install to the application.

The TX-H2X-HDMI card supports 18Gbps 4K HDR inputs via HDMI in and mirrored HDMI out, with multiple audio options including S/PDIF Audio In, S/PDIF and Analogue Stereo Audio Out, and IR to zone – all distributed over HDBaseT to 70m/230ft or 1080p to 140m/459ft 1080p using its long cable mode setting.
The TX-H2X-HDBT card offers the same connectivity, with the exception of swapping the HDMI input for a Class A HDBaseT Input to support decentralized source connection.
The TX-H2X-VLC and TX-H2X-OM3 cards raise the 4K game with support for 18Gbps transmissions of 2160p 60Hz 4:4:4 and 2160p 60Hz 4:2:2 HDR-12 bit. But whereas the TX-H2X-VLC features HDBaseT Class A transmission to 70m/230ft, the TX-H2X-OM3 instead offers transmission over multimode fiber up to 300m/984ft.
Lastly, for applications focusing on audio distribution to zones, the TX-H2X-ADZ audio expansion card features HDMI In and mirrored out alongside S/PDIF Audio In, S/PDIF and Analogue Stereo Audio Out, enabling the integrator to skew the number of audio inputs and outputs based on the requirements of their project.
WyreStorm says the result is a single flexible and fully customisable matrix solution that replaces what would have been several solutions before. WyreStorm will be on Booth N1564 throughout InfoComm.
