Handy AV have been recognised as a verified Samsung Platinum Partner – the first and only UK AV business to achieve the lofty accolade across Samsung’s partner programme.

Handy AV have been recognised for its outstanding product knowledge and over a decade of experience working with Samsung digital signage technology. Its Platinum Partner status covers all three areas of Samsung’s digital signage programme – hospitality displays, smart signage and direct view LED signage.

Aubrey Wright, Managing Director and owner of Handy AV, says, “We have been working to achieve Platinum Channel Partner status with Samsung for several years – ever since we learned of the programme – and are thrilled that Handy AV are the first and only integrator in the UK to boast this achievement.”

Aubrey adds, “This status is the result of a lot of hard work from our team. We remain brand agnostic with our screens, but our customers’ loyalty to the Samsung brand means we have over 15 years of installing projects with Samsung hardware and Software. In that time, a lot has changed – particularly in the content management and DVLED space – but we have adapted in the same way that the technology develops.”

According to Samsung, the partner programme brings many benefits to integrators and their customers. Its website states, “Partnering with Samsung Display Solutions means that you have more industry-leading technologies to add to your portfolio. Grow your business as part of a thriving partner program that brings you closer to the customer through hardware and solution integration opportunities.”

They go on to mention that, in order for a partner to be granted Silver, Gold, or Platinum status within one or more of our specialisations, that partner should achieve all of the following:

• Minimum target revenue

• Minimum number of employees with sales certification

• Minimum number of employees with technical certification

Samsung continues, “Samsung’s partner program certifications are a powerful tool to prove to customers that you have the capabilities they look for when choosing a supplier.”

Handy AV will be bringing its newly bestowed credentials to London Excel at the end of March for the BETT show, where they will be showcasing a modular EdTech solution on the Samsung booth.

Aubrey continues, “We are very excited about our Education offering with Samsung at BETT. We plan to announce something BIG, but our lips are sealed until the show.” The BETT show runs at London Excel from 29-31 March.
