Green Hippo, Harman’s AMX and Projection Artworks will join Optoma and Texas Instruments at Silverstone for the upcoming The Optoma Showcase: Driving performance in projectors.

Optoma has organised the showcase in partnership with Texas Instruments, with the event to be held on November 7th at Silverstone, home of the British Grand prix, from 10am-3pm.

The showcase will be organised into zones with demonstrations taking place throughout the day.

“We invited these three companies to join us as they are market leaders in their fields and through their work, demonstrate the connectivity and creativity capabilities of Optoma’s projectors,” says Optoma’s territory manager, Nick Price.

In the professional installation zone there will be auto-blending demonstrations using the Chameleon GB-200 and Optoma’s 5,000-7,000-lumen ProScene projectors.

The ProScene team will be on hand to give advice on the features and capabilities of these models.

Visitors to the event will be among the first in the UK to see Optoma’s new 1080p business and home projectors in action.

There will be a gaming and home cinema area with demonstrations on how content can be streamed to Optoma’s new 1080p gaming projector, GT1080.

This uses MHL to play games, stream videos and share images on the big screen while simultaneously charging a connected smartphone or tablet with a single cable.

Optoma’s interactive ultra short throw projectors will be showcased within the education zone while demonstrations in the business zone will focus upon projector connectivity with other technologies such as Google Chromecast. Optoma will also show its range of LED lighting and accessories.

All Optoma projectors use DLP technology, pioneered by Texas Instruments. Texas Instruments will be on hand to meet the industry and show how DLP works.

“The showcase will be an invaluable source of information for partners, with the latest models on show,’ says Nick.

All attendees will be entered into a draw to win one of 20 places for an Aston Martin driving experience.
