Fibersystem has officially joined the HDBaseT Alliance, just in time for the company to show off its new HDBaseT fibre solution for the distribution of Ultra HD video, audio and USB peripheral data at InfoComm 2015.

During the show in Orlando, Florida, Fibersystem showed off some of its wares on the HDBaseT Alliance’s booth, which included the 45-600 HDMI HDBaseT KVMX solution.

This is a keyboard-video-mouse extender link that enables secure and remote CPU locations, for up to 300m with multi-mode fibre and several kilometres with single mode fibre.

KVMX’s HDBaseT series enables 4K resolution, all audio formats, USB 2.0 support, controls and more.

HDBaseT’s fibre transmission is one of the features enabled by Spec 2.0 of the HDBaseT standard.

“By incorporating HDBaseT technology into our products, we are able to offer our customers increased flexibility and the highest video resolution possible.

Our KVMX series of HDBaseT-enabled products are particularly suited where longer distances are required without compromising on the quality of video or data being transmitted,” says Thomas Axaeus, sales manager at Fibersystem.

Fibresystem has designed its HDBaseT solution for a variety of applications, including in factories, hospitals, emission-secured systems and security centres.
