Providing 12,000 lumens light output and WUXGA resolution, the single-chip DLP RLS-W12 from Barco is a cost-effective projector that boasts extended warping and blending, as well as HDBaseT technology to provide video over a single Cat-5 cable.

Barco is targeting small- to medium-sized venues with this launch, however the projector is also suited for use for the rental market due to its optional rental frame.

Specific target applications include museums, theatres and conference auditoriums, as well as the hotel and exhibition rental market.

The cost-effective RLS-W12 has been optimised to reduce noise and minimise power consumption. Its twin 465W NSH lamps are not only affordable, but also reportedly provide a long lifetime. It operates at full brightness on a voltage range of 110V – 240V.

Featuring HDBaseTTM and BarcoLink, the RLS-W12 supports point-to-point transmission of video signals: up to WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) at 60Hz ¬– from source to projector, over distances of more than 70m, via a single Cat-5 or BNC cable.

The RLS-W12 can be controlled via the wired or wireless remote control, the Android and iOS App and the user-friendly Projector Toolset software.
